This EP is the result of an experiment. Earlier last month, I asked listeners to send me sounds. Any sounds they wanted. The idea being that, using nothing but the samples they provided, I would spend the evening creating an original piece of music. The first attempt was certainly a bit terrifying. I received around thirty submissions that included everything from harsh noise to small guitar melodies to someone clicking away on a keyboard. Even though the soundscape was remarkably eclectic, form slowly began to emerge as it was put together.

I was intrigued by the result. It was certainly unlike anything I could have created on my own. A few days later, I had to try again. The process was repeated a number of times, and before I knew it I had a group of songs that somehow created a cohesive EP in spite of the inherent serendipity of the creative process.
